COLLECTIONS - A Tutor Book of Pieces

Violin, Viola & Cello & Double Bass

There are  87 pieces for each of the four instruments. The material is for  the first two to three years of learning.  Accompaniment parts are in separate books for the teacher to play their own instrument and/or keyboard. All the instruments can play together and the accompaniments will fit  all of the instruments. 

The music is fun and stimulates the imagination.

There are three ways of collecting the Collections:

1.  Download each of the 8 Collections one by one. There is a ninth 'Scale Collection' with diagrams of fingering,  for learning the  scales!!

2. Use two books with 4/5 Collections in each.

3. Use all 9 Collections in one Volume. The 'Scale Collection' has no harmonic accompaniment provided.

The Overview of each section provides a  ready-made learning plan to save teachers having to make their own curriculum strategy.

The quickest way to obtain the copies is to download the printable files. Hard copies take longer to be delivered and cost more.

TUTTI STRINGS ENSEMBLE MUSIC

huge versatility for string groups

The Tutti Strings series is for string groups where the players' experience in the that group ranges from absolute beginners to those who have learnt for about three years.

This gives the starter players lots of encouragement to play, by being in a group which sounds really good, right from their beginning.

With three parts per instrument, Violin, Viola, Cello and Double Bass, there's a main part, an easy part and a very easy part, just open strings.

All the instruments get the tune. This means the music is not dominated by the first violin part,  which happens so much in too much music for young players.

Some of the pieces in the Tutti Strings series are traditional tunes,  others are original and imaginative where the titles describe the music. For example,  the Choose Your Chews piece feels as if you are chewing while you play!!

You can order the digital downloads of the score alone and the set of all the parts separately. The cost of the parts includes allowing the buyer to make extra parts to match the make up of the group.
